about Intimate Gigs

In March 2008 we set up Intimate Gigs to replace The ac music club, which started out life in January 2003 as a non profit making organisation to bring quality live music to the area. The principle is the same with Intimate Gigs. It is all about quality live music in a safe, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's about bringing local musicians from all backgrounds together and supporting local talent. It's about bringing the best in touring talent to the area. It's all about keeping music live.

As a not for profit organisation, we are dedicated to raising money for local charities and community organisation through the gigs we put on and running the highly successful Garfields indie club nights for over 8 years. We have raised over £30,000 so far and it is all thanks to you for your support.

We are always looking for volenteers who want to get involved and help with the gigs and we always welcome sponsors who would like to support us financialy.
