The summer sees us return with a fantastic line up of music already in place and some big surprises to be announced. With Motherwell Theatre & Concert Hall reopening after its refit and Airdrie Town Hall reopening in August, we will be joining forces with the venues to put on some great shows. First up is a real coup for us with the critically acclaimed Irish singer Brian Kennedy coming to Motherwell theatre on the 8th July. Brian is currently a mentor on the Irish version of The Voice and plans to have his new album out in June. This is one of only two Scottish dates and as Brian usually sells out the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow and the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh, we expect this to quickly sell out.
We are also delight to see the return of some favourites to Intimate Gigs in the form of the multi million selling Eleanor McEvoy, the grammy award winning American legend Bob Cheevers and Irish troubadour Andy White. We are launching our Bring A Toy charity collection drive in April. The idea is simple. When you come along to one of our gigs, bring a toy (new and in its packaging) and you will receive a voucher that will give you a discount on your next ticket for another of our gigs.
All the toys collected will be given to the charity Spirit Aid who will distribute them at Christmas to children throughout Scotland for who Christmas is just another day. We know this wont change the world but it will put a smile on the face of a child with little to smile about. We are looking for toys for all ages, babies through to teenagers.
